Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page lists the cookies, and similar browser storage, that shipanysaas.com and our web demo (shipanysaas-demo.vercel.app) use. The phone app demo (shipanysaas-mobile-demo.vercel.app) keeps your demo sign-in in browser storage. The sites are run by Dataspecc LLC. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with the data.
Needed for the site to work
- analytics-consent: notes whether visitors from your region are asked about cookies. Kept for 1 day.
- cookie_consent_status (browser storage): remembers your answer to the cookie banner. Kept until you clear it.
- NEXT_LOCALE: the site language, set automatically. Deleted when you close the browser.
- sb-…-auth-token (sometimes split into parts ending in .0, .1): keeps you signed in, if you have an account. Deleted when you sign out; otherwise kept for up to 400 days.
- sb-…-auth-token-code-verifier: a one-time code used while you sign in with Google or an email link. Removed after use.
Your preferences
- theme (cookie and browser storage): light or dark mode. The cookie is kept for 1 year.
- auth_last_method (browser storage): how you last signed in, and for password sign-in your email address, so the sign-in page can suggest it. Removed after 30 days.
- sidebar_state: whether the sidebar is open, inside a signed-in account. Kept for 7 days.
- last-selected-team: the last team you opened, inside a signed-in account. Kept for 30 days.
Analytics
These help us understand how visitors use the sites. In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland they are only set after you accept the cookie banner. Elsewhere they are set without a banner.
- ph_…_posthog (cookie and browser storage): PostHog's visitor and session identifiers. The cookie is kept for 1 year; the browser storage copy until you clear it.
- ph_…_window_id and ph_…_primary_window_exists (tab storage): tell PostHog which browser tab a recording belongs to. Deleted when you close the tab.
- __eventn_id_…: Usermaven's visitor identifier. Set for up to 10 years, though most browsers shorten that.
- usermaven_default_…_data (browser storage): Usermaven's settings and, once you are signed in, your user ID and email address. Kept until you clear it.
- analytics_first_touch (browser storage): the campaign tags, ad click ID, referring page and landing page of your first visit, so a purchase can be credited to the campaign that brought you. Kept until you clear it.
Where we ask first, two more items are kept in browser storage:
- __ph_opt_in_out_…: your answer to the cookie banner, as PostHog records it.
- usermaven_offline_queue_default_data: visit counts Usermaven has not sent yet. It is also used before you answer, without identifying you.
Before you answer, no analytics cookies are set: PostHog collects nothing, and Usermaven only counts visits without cookies. If you decline, both only count visits without cookies. Either way, nothing is linked to you.
Payments
Checkout happens on Stripe's own pages (checkout.stripe.com). Stripe sets its own cookies there, for example to prevent fraud, as described in Stripe's cookie policy.
Your choices
If you were shown our cookie banner, you can change your answer at any time with the button below: it deletes the analytics cookies and storage, and the banner asks you again. In any browser, you can also block or delete cookies in its settings. The sites work without analytics cookies, but blocking the cookies they need will stop sign-in from working.
